Avison Young is a quickly expanding commercial real estate company based out of Canada. They wanted to update their brand to something modern and user-friendly — more specifically, they needed rules, templates and, most importantly, brand standards.
This project was a huge undertaking (and learning experience).
We updated their entire system — including tweaking their logo — giving them new brand standards, stationery, a company overview brochure, a department-specific brochure and template, infographics, signage, an email template, flyer templates, and various PowerPoint and Word templates, all along with a new voice: one focused around the building block of their company, that they’re different.
Graduation is a time of excitement, with students abuzz with the possibilities of the future. This short-term identity was created for SAIC's 2011 Commencement, representing the power, energy and uncertainty of what's to come.

From concept to completion, I was able to work on every aspect of this project, including cover and book design, image selection and pagination, editing, and production.
It’s safe to say, I loved this project.

Bugs, mummies and whales—this is In The Field, The Field Museum Member Magazine. From image selection, layout design and file production, there was always something interesting to see or read while designing this magazine.
The Old Town School of Folk Music is a Chicago institution and a fun and vibrant place; they were looking for a brand update to match just that.
This rebrand covered all their collateral including stationery (and fun, new concert ticket envelopes), festival guides, brochures, class schedules and brand guidelines.
